Author: Aliaa El Nashar

Release Date: April, 2011

Publisher: Shabab Books Publishing-house

Summary (Goodreads):

The Story revolves around:

-A boy called Damien who seems to have it all. He's rich, good-looking and athletic. He's also arrogant, obnoxious and a major player. Damien is one of 5 children who seem to not get along, until one day Damien meets Alexis and his life is turned inside out.

-A girl called Alexis who has trust issues due to her parents. Her best friends mean the world to her, and she refuses to date anyone that doesn't fit completely in her 'Perfect Guy' list.

They're thrown together a lot and start to face inner demons they've hidden away for so long.

My Thoughts:

I saw this (eBook), and I thought, "That looks like an interesting book to read". I wasn't wrong, but I wasn't exactly right, either.

The first thing I noticed when I started to read this was all of the typos; there was a lot. Now, the reason I don't really like reading eBooks (though I have to read them a lot) is all of the typos. It makes the book seem as if it came from Wattpad or Figment, in other words, unprofessional. But, this review isn't for the typos, this is for the actual story line, so I'll start that review, now.

So, since I had to read this on my computer, I didn't really get to read all the time or for a long time, but when I did get to read it, I read a lot of it.

There was a lot of separate little romances in it, which I usually don't like, but in this it was okay. The story was truly interesting, but for a while it was hard to get over the typos and weird wordings, but half way through, I forgot about them.

I do wish, though that we got to see a little more of some characters. Like, I would've liked a little more on Damien and Alexis, and maybe some more on some of the other characters, too.

I liked how the characters seemed like real people (instead of fictional) because of the teasing and the conversations and stuff like that (because that's how I talk to my friends, and reading about something different just seems weird).

Now, giveaway time! This giveaway is completely INTERNATIONAL, so people outside of the US join in and win!

In response to your question this summer i have planned to read chick-lit 'the love letter' by Fiona Walker and a huge fantasy slab of a book 'the runes of the earth' by Stephen Donaldson (which could take me up until winter!).
Thank you x
